- 1986 (Foundation): Established by Mr. David Chang; launched Asia's first computerized Rheometer.
- 2000 (Global Quality): Achieved ISO 9001 Certification and established the USA Office.
- 2003 (Lab Authority): Accredited by TAF (ISO/IEC 17025) for national standard calibration.
- Global Expansion: Established dedicated branches across the USA, China, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

1986: Foundation & First Innovations
- Managing Director, Mr. David Chang, developed the first computerized Rheometer and established the company.
- Few years later, the company developed the first computerized Mooney Viscometer, Tensile Tester, Ozone Test Chamber, and Tire Plunger Tester.
2000: Global Expansion & ISO Certification
- Implementation of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Launched the EKT-2001MG Mixing Grader to the market and obtained the patent for its sample cutting device.
- Continuously obtained patents for other precision testing instruments.
- Established the EKTRON USA branch office.
2003: TAF Accreditation & Asian Branches
- Established the Calibration Laboratory, officially accredited by the government's TAF (ISO/IEC 17025) standard.
- Established the EKTRON Vietnam branch office.
- Established the EKTRON China - Shanghai branch office.
2004: Global Service Center & Academic Ties
- Established EKTRON Malaysia as the main worldwide service center.
- Established a joint laboratory in cooperation with Qingdao University of Science and Technology.
- Established the EKTRON China - Qingdao branch office.

2018: USA Laboratory Expansion
- Expanded the EKTRON USA branch office and began establishing a dedicated local laboratory to better serve the Americas.
